Suvannakhet - Help!

Please kindly advise...

I am due to drive to Mukdahan tomorrow morning to obtain Non-Imm B visa at Suvannakhet. 

Does anyone know for sure.... is the bridge border crossing still open?

It's open, but you should arrive very early to make it.

 

   Or spend one night in Mukdahan. Good luck! 

 

P.S. If you're driving, there's a nice place where you can park your car, right before the bridge, not too expensive and people watch out for your car.

The bridge is certainly still open. No problem at all to enter Laos.

Thank you. I will spend one night in Mukdahan and go over in the morning. Leave my at the hotel. Can anyone suggest a good hotel in Mukdahan where I could leave my car? Thank you so much everyone - very stressed!!!

Leave your car right in front of the bridge. It's cheap and people watch over it.

   Don't be stressed, look forward to some good beer and see it as a holiday.

Be aware that the Tuk Tuk's are trying to rip you off. Everybody on such a vehicle has to pay the same price. They often drive around without a reason.

 

  Make sure how much you pay before the ride. The bus passes the Consulate, but it doesn't stop there!
