Apinya Bunditwuthisagul, from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, is one of many teachers who gives lectures via the Cisco Webex Meetings program, which has been increasingly used of late.

The program is able to communicate in real-time, create a presentation and integrate with other applications.

On Friday, classes were conducted by three lecturers via an online platform, which was another approach to handle the Covid-19 crisis.

Can use FB Messenger just as easily.  But why bother if all you are doing is lecturing? Just assign a book or reading material. Of course, if you're actually teaching that means interaction and discussion with students, close readings of the subject material and individual responses.

my concern is the dual monitors that are far too far away to be used (unless you are an eagle) and the keyboard in no mans land, I guess thats why she's on a laptop.

I find Zoom. much better choice.

Many students are probably looking at the teacher through smartphones. No one was prepared for this. I'm sure teachers are trying to make an effort but it's a bit of joke. Despite having online learning these days for degrees, most people around the world still choose real classrooms.

Ergonomics expert?

You think there is a Thai equivalent of the UK Display Screen Equipment regulations?
