Does anyone know where an easy website is to tell you the status of the Suvarnabumi airport? Are there any rumors of it closing?

 

Also, any rumors of and ANA flight cancellations?

 

Wife is in Thailand and want to know status

What would be the point of listening to rumours on Thaivisa when you or your wife could just call the airline to answer your question?

One, I am trying to dispel any rumors to my wife. I was wondering if there is any rumors or mentions of it closing.

 

 

Two, the airlines have many hour wait times and often times have no information. I was wondering if anyone had already called and got an answer.

 

According to everything I see, there is no cancellation of any ANA or JAL flights.

Here in the USA, there will be a press leak of something, and then 2-3 days later, it actually happens. I was wondering if the same thing happens in the Thai press.

Just to share, they called my wife and moved her flight up two days. This was proactive on their part so obviously ANA and JPL is changing flights to adjust to the ongoing situation.

Calling customer, a good example how customer service should be.

Others post describe hopeless attempts to contact airlines by phone/email.

My wife has flown ANA a few times and was very happy with the service. United is absolutely terrible.
