Absolutely!!! And smear the alcohol gel onto the iron's handle (if you have any that is). Can make a gel with Lao Khao and garlic, if there is none in your parts. Also, leave all doors ajar. So they can be opened with the elbow or knee. Take your lead from the Skripal affair in England. Can't be too careful out there. I've said it before and it's worth repeating. I doubt any insurance company is daft enough to cover this virus and right now no one gets into thailand without health insurance and a health certificate. X10+ is probably more like it. Officially 279 active cases with only 1 serious/critical. I have my doubts there are many severe cases, otherwise evidence would be plastered all over the forum. The tourist areas would be hit hardest first, and we'd have BM's posting about it. Anecdotally, I did have a persistent sore throat earlier in the month, doc prescribed antibiotics and mostly cleared in 2 days, *but* it took a long time to recover that last 10%. Felt a little under the weather for about 10 days, mostly keeping to my room.
Popular Post djfolio
Just saw a swiss doctor speaking about the numbers of infected people in Switzerland: From 100, about 20 have to stay in hospital, 5 will need ICU threatment. The numbers rising exponentially, so in about 10 days, all the avaiable ICU places will be full with the numbers still growing. This means soon they have to decide who gets the next free ICU bed and who has to die! The 72-year old grandpa who has a well balanced diabetes or the 48-year papa that need some medicine right now and has a wesk immunosystem or the 27-year young guy who just had bad luck.... The health system will collaps if people still underestimate that virus. They only way to stop it, is social distancing and not going for a beer with a friend or a Som Tam with my school mate. STAY HOME! If i make a similar calculation for Thailand with the numbers from today (around 400 infected, doubling every 3 days) and the avaiable ICU beds (around 3200, let's say 5000), Mr. Prayut has time to completely shut down the whole country and force people to stay at home until the end of this month! If he doesn't, the capacities of the thai health system will just not be enough and thousands might die. Not even considering all the uncounted infections from the lack of testing and the thais that just came back from South Korea and partying in Isaan now. Good luck to you! ???? 3

Here's some stats I heard from a study from the University of South Hampton. If China had acted (to prevent spread rather than trying to cover it up) 1 week earlier they could have reduced the spread by 66%. If they had acted 2 weeks earlier, they could have reduced the spread by 86% and if they had acted 3 weeks earlier they could reduced it by 95%. Time REALLY matters. I think the PM is getting advice from the wrong people. Edited March 21, 2020 by tropo 2

Why is that? Are they strangely all asymptomatic then, or something else maybe. The 'government' does not have a handle on anything, bar the breaking of democracy. Thai's use toilet paper to wipe there hands dry, wipe there faces after they eat. Have you not observed it on the tables in the roll holders, its either that or tissues. Never understood why a proper napkin or paper towel was not used, but after living here for many years, its not practical to buy as its a little cost prohibitive. If this was the case hospitals would be overflowing people would be dying and this would be all over social media. It is not. While I dont trust the numers they can't be off by a 100 that is just plain crazy. 3 or 4 times the numbers sure like on par with countries like UK. But dont forget warm weather is the enemy of this virus, something Europe did not have but Thailand did.
