Yep, the Chinese sure understand how global capitalism works.

Wow, they sure are biting the hand that feeds them, and not playing the game the way the masters in the CCP would like....oh boy, heads will roll

Do you really believe the figures being disseminated by the CCP are true? This is a fair yes or no question. Please let us all know.

trust but verify?

we've got travel restrictions on hubei being lessened, people are now allowed into wuhan city (but not out yet), some factories there are working, rail freight left wuhan yesterday (medical supplies to germany, so probably a photo op), and the wuhan subway is now at least partially in operation.

those are easily verifiable, right?  compare that to internet misinformation from random anonymous sources.  show me the 3 million bodies in wuhan and we've got something.  china (or ccp if you prefer) doesn't have anything to gain by opening hubei/wuhan before the virus is (or appears to be) contained.  rather they have everything to lose.  they'd really like to start producing for the world again, lying about virus cases now would ensure they'll never get their customers back.

i'm not in wuhan so can't verify everything personally.  stuck here in hainan with no flights out, and no o-visas allowed back into thailand.

how is it here?  went out for a bicycle ride yesterday, passed through a couple small towns and a few dozen villages out in the countryside.  life was perfectly normal.  traffic flow about right for a random saturday, folks riding local buses, shopping in supermarkets, kids packed into fast food places.  very few masks being worn, mostly by scooter drivers - guessing more for dust than for the virus.  aside from at most 1 in 50 wearing masks in public, there was no indication there was a pandemic at all.

Dinsdale one ought to question why Australian entrepreneurs were selling PPE to China during a global pandemic. Ethical capitalism at work.

This is not what pharmacists tell me is going on. Ask them yourself.

Off the shelf from around the country and the world. Same with baby formula around the world. Called Daigou. Nothing to do with Australians selling to China. Daigou. Look it up.

Seems like neighbouring provinces don't want people from Hubei coming to their neighbourhood. Wonder why. Please it seems like you know a lot about what is going on in Wuhan. Could you tell us the average creamation rate at a funeral house per day in Wuhan and what it has been over the last three months? I'm very interested to know this. One more question. Are you a member of the CCP? Also I'm sorry you don't know the concept of a yes/no question. Pretty easy really it's a one word answer. So from your diatribe I guess your answer is YES. You believe the CCP is telling the world the truth. Ok. Well here's another yes/no question. Did this virus originate in Wuhan? Remember one word. Yes or no.

Maybe there's no pandemic at all

Ok..just throwing an idea out there

this is not a simple yes/no.....do i believe everything?  of course not.  depends on what there is to back up the claims.  shouldn't believe immediately what ANY government puts out.

i'm not in hunan, so of course don't have first hand information on cremation rates.  sorry.  i can only report what i see way down south.  as to one of the misinformation links, citing a delivery of urns to a mortuary says nothing without any background baseline information.

there are properly-sourced articles available in the western press where you can find some verified information.  i'll take a look at some of the "tinfoil" sites occasionally.  some are amusing, most simply ridiculous.

now try to understand this.  did the virus originate in wuhan?  it seems that it did.  i'm no epedimiologyst (heck, i can't even spell it!), but reliable reports indicate it originated in wuhan, and so far has been traced back to a shrimp vendor at the central wet market.  so, umm, that's a qualified yes, 'cause i can't prove it.  if that's unacceptable to you, sorry.

You don't need to prove it. The world knows where it came from and how it was able to spread to said world and the complete and utter devistation it's causing. Tell you the truth if I was to write a novel or script a film on biological warefare and how to bring capitalism to it's knees and see the rise and world dominance of a particular brand of Marxist Socialism this would be a good, albeit fictional, thing to base it on.

Can you post a source for that info?

I found the source in a Dutch newspaper, will not post it here as it is in a foreign language.

It was 600 000 pieces of KN95 masks. The Dutch minister of health has spoken to the

Chines ambassador about it.

Of course they did. Only a fool would expect them to admit they did. Deny Deny

You have obviously missed the simple point. This wasn't for the Chinese people. The CCP doesn't care about them. They only care about their own power. It was to sell to the world to make the CCP look like good guys. Maybe you should read or re-read my previous posts. Jan and Feb? They knew about this in Dec the previous year. The CCP released this virus to the world.

CCP knew back in Dec 10 2019.....

https://www.yahoo.com/news/wuhan-seafood-vendor-believed-one-051432500.html

Wei Guixian, a 57-year-old seafood vendor in Wuhan, China, was among the first 27 people to be diagnosed with the coronavirus, which originated from the wet market where she worked.

Wei first began exhibiting coronavirus symptoms on December 10 and was admitted to the hospital less than a week later,

  • But the World Health Organization said it wasn't informed of the coronavirus from its Chinese branch until the end of December, The Wall Street Journal reported.

  • A "lot fewer people would have died" in China if the government acted sooner, Wei told The Journal in a February interview.

Doctors who treated early coronavirus patients were also forced into silence by the Chinese government.

Chinese companies in OZ did the same thing , sent a whole load of medical stuff back to China early February and left us in the lurch
