snoop1130 Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 Customs Department instructed to waive duty on masks, Covid-19 medical equipment By THE NATION The Cabinet ordered the Customs Department today (March 31) to waive the import duty on face masks, medical equipment, Covid-19 virus test kits and anti-virus medicine, government spokeswoman Narumon Pinyosinwat said. It also asked the Public Health Ministry to speed up the process of examining these items to one day. The Commerce Ministry was meanwhile instructed to impose stricter controls to prevent eggs from being overpriced.
