Trolls World Tour review — this release could signify the end of cinema-going as we know it

Queen Poppy (voiced by Anna Kendrick) returns in Trolls World Tour

 

When the definitive history of cinema is written, this may turn out to be the big one.

 

Bigger than the first sound film, The Jazz Singer, in 1927.

 

Bigger than Becky Sharp, which premiered the Technicolor process in 1935.

 

And bigger even than Twister, the first movie to be released on DVD, in 1997 (it launched a hugely profitable home video revolution).

After watching the first Troll movie about a month ago, I can also say don't bother.

 

There are a lot better animated movies out there worth watching.
