Returning to Thailand on a Thai Elite visa in the times of Covid-19

My wife and I recently obtained Thai Elite visas. We haven't left the country since being granted them but are planning to leave and return in August.

Assuming the Covid-19 situation is under control and Thailand again allows incoming flight traffic what will we need to return to Thailand? My understanding is no additional documents are needed for Elite visa holders but has the pandemic changed this? I realize the situation is fluid and health and insurance documents were recently required for tourists when incoming flights were still permitted but does anyone know how much of that will carry forward after the pandemic and apply to my visa category? I had thought the Elite visa was sufficient to both board the plane outside of Thailand and clear immigration within without any other documents.

The basic requirements for a entry to the country have not changed.

The health certificate and insurance are/were needed to enter the country for all foreigners that did not have work permit some other special categories. Now of course you cannot enter the country at all until the 18th.

I cannot predict what it will be like in August.

I enquired about getting a TE visa a couple of years ago. I asked them about possible imposition of entry restrictions (I was thinking about elections and military interventions rather than health crisis). They told me that TE is effectively a very long term tourist visa and whatever the requirements on tourists would apply to TE.

Make sure that upon your return you request the services of an EPA (Elite Personal Assistant). They will take you to a special immigration lane where the IO will know what to do. So far IOs never asked me for any additional documentation. However you have to monitor the situation, we can't predict the situation for Aug.
