5000b Subsidy for Thais

Featured Replies

Im completely aware that a lot of thai people have been denied the 5000b subsidy.

My question is my girlfriend has not received any indication whether she has been accepted or denied buy rather the app tells her to wait.

Just hoping somebody may be able to enlighten me if this is normal or she had possibly missed a step or has something further to do

a friend is in the same situation.

My Mrs has got all monies from water from electric from govt from phone company from TV company.

i would presume she has to show paper she was an employee

and got laid off due to corona

The 5,000 baht is specifically aimed at people who will not have this.

But most are not getting it. Shameful.

If you have paid social security tax or income tax in any way shape or form you are not qualified to get the 5,000 THB.

This is because the subsidy is not part of the social security system, as people who have been laid off, whether due to the coronavirus or not, are eligible for unemployment benefits.

The unemployment benefits are given in a period of 90 days at 30% of one's latest paycheck but not more than 15,000 THB.

Update: apparently, there was an information today saying there would be news on 22nd April.
