My thread is about getting my much needed meds over to thailand ASAP.

they would cost me a fortune here. Kidney disease meds.

So he is correct to give this reply/advise.

Can anyone clarify, would customs hold these back from me.

Are you watching brian ????????????????????????????????????????

The problem may be first of all at UK end. I tried to send some medical creams and compression bandaging to Thailand from UK last year. The post office asked me what the parcels contained, (as they always do), and they told me they couldn't send them to Thailand as they contained medical items. You could say something different of course, but then there may still be a problem on arrival in Thailand (customs check.)

  • I think you should check the Royal Mail website. I doubt you would get anything by "normal" mail in under 3 weeks at the moment. If its urgent, I would explore couriers.   400 = 16k currentl

  • Had a letter posted 20 March in the UK, & got it on 12 April.

  • I also need meds from UK, but when I looked into Thai mail, packages, medicine is not allowed? Can anyone clarify this?

Any recent experiences with UK to Thailand post?

Have recieved two small parcels royal mail within 14 days in the last 5 weeks one meds  one debit cards .no problems.

A card from the UK approx 2 weeks, prior to that recd post that took 3 months and more.

I recd a late arrival bank card and then had problems using it.
I presume "local" made are not available.
Good luck with the meds.
