Airlines will follow the Thai model of fewer customers, raise prices.

Yeah, in time they might, but if people decrease overall spending (which they will), because they want to conserve money or others simply because they ran out of money, it would still lead to low loads.

So some balance will have to found, airlines will likely have recover losses over an extended period of time.

In my opinion.

It's amazing the first (and only) thing some people think about is price and availability of alcohol. Actually it's not amazing, it's sad.

  • my expenses have dropped by 30% since the beginning of the lock down.

What a life having to depend on alcohol like that. ????

I am really surprised at the amount of problem drinkers among the TV members, of all the regular expats I have met in 14 years here, I only knew three, and they are now dead.

The price of alcohol will probably go up because the government will have a months worth of tax to claw back.

Not yet it hasn't :cheesy:

I am thinking only about availability at the moment, price doesn't concern me, but it always goes up in April every year so I expect to pay at least 660 baht a case of Chang next time I am allowed to buy.

Please God let it be May 1st.
