  • The kind that isn't staffed by pimple popping shlep-shloppers with room temperature iq.   Every product/service already exists here. It's just all mostly run by careless idiots.

  • Fairly "impossible" or too expensive to implement. An app where you can upload a document and / or picture in Thai and have it translated quickly. Option detailed translation or a summary of the doc

I would say your last sentence would apply to Thai banks, not necessary the staff behind the counters, there only taking orders from the idiots above, but for normal services, around the house, car and motorbike repairs, I have always been happy with the service.

Also an option to call someone instantly to help with a conversation / translation. Say you're stuck at homepro and want to buy a beach chair, but nobody knows what the hell your're talking about, use the app, call a translator.

Google Lens.

Google lens. Awesome app. Translates anything instantly. just need to point your phone camera on the text/label/flyer/sign/etc. That combined with google translator does the job. Of course you could make it to luxury thing with live support but that would be very very niche market since you can get it all done free with google.

Just use a vpn, set it to uk and off you go.

Amazon. Lazada and Shoppee don't hold a candle to it.

Costco, Trader Joe's!
