I lost my gay bag driving the MC and in it was my passport and drivers license and some cash. Fortunatelly I kept my credit cards in my back pocket, does anyone know how IO will say and demand of me when I show them a new passport without the old stamps and departure card etc?

What do I need to do after the embassy sold me a new passport?

Have you made a police report of the loss etc ? That will help you in many ways having a copy of that report.

What type of permission to stay do you have? Did you make a copy?

Same here... I just didn't want to be sanctimonious in my reply and write 'you should have done............' when the horse has already bolted.... 

 

I keep all photos of all these documents, driving licenses, Wife & Sons Passport, Insurance documents, Visa's to other countries etc, Health Insurance, all open flight tickets etc in a cloud folder in DropBox.

 

DropBox is useful for this. That doesn't help the Op, but if it triggers someone to do this then it may be of future help to them.

This can't be the first time someone has lost their passport and needs their Visa replaced. I imagine its happend a number of times, so the accurate advice is definitely out there.

I do wonder how the 'lock down' will impact any of this.
