Wouldn't it be easier just to give it to all those called Somchai or Nok?

Chronic, technical errors, registration protocol faulty, ministerial cock ups, uninformed experts making ridiculous pronouncements, and the police and army chasing their tail like a 4 week old kitten.

Did you get a photo of the dead mother? i did, maybe it's the same one

Yes I did.

I would have been there if not for the Thai Airways flights suspension.

if they can't be bothered to make the effort i guess they dont need the money that desperately.

It's not that they cannot be bothered.

My lady had five rejected attempts.

Basically saying that her registration number does not match the selection criteria.

The help line number is not responding.

I believe that there is a new button added to the website APPEAL.

And yesterday the ministry of silly walks announced that additional help would be available.

The house book does not say farm.

The electric account is not farmer.

Nobody in the house is a farmer, nor has been.

Both her and the sister are shop workers, or were.

Not one person in the village has received any money.

The government has admitted that more than 4 million incorrect entries were included.

Why don't they appoint someone to talk to the people who are on the ground  literally.

No food banks here.

Explain what needs to be done to clear up the situation...

But that would mean the government has to cough up the money...

Or perhaps, they don't have the skills to complete the form, or have anyone to help them.

The form is not complicated.

Web based and you fill in the boxes.

I did a test run in about 5 minutes in English.

It opens up in English for me.

Once filled in you submit.

About 4 to 6 days later they (and everyone else they have asked) received a message saying that there is a problem with the registration number..

In Other words the government system rejected the claim  associated with the registration number.

(Thai id number)

Somewhere in the government data base it looks at the  13 digit number and then rejects the application.

Based on a cross match to some piece of input data by whoever, whenever and wherever.

They know that they are not farmers or students.

But somewhere in the database this seems to be the main reason for rejection.

Perhaps a cunning plan to avoid paying people.?

When there's no other alternatives I suppose they will sadly give up...

I have 15 Thai family members. Two are teachers, and my wife runs a shop. They are the only ones with full time jobs. Two on government (700 baht) pensions, One 100% disabled, two young children, two university students and one got stuck here while back on holiday. Two work part-time selling chickens, and two others were just starting work when the lock-down started (casual part-time). A rather large family to feed. Just heard today that the last two have got the 5,000 baht, out of 5 that applied. My wife tried as she has lost 50% of her income (mainly selling alcoholic drinks) but was turned down as 'she was the boss'.

I don't know whether my GF hasn't got it because she is the daughter of a farmer,  her house is classified as being in a farming village, or there is an asset test on bank balances. I do know she is very p###ed off, says the government are all liars. Some of her neighbors got the 5K.

It was mentioned that the person who is listed as head of the house in the tabien baan and their occupation, then this is the family occupation,

For that household.

Just so hard to get correct answers.

Meanwhile millions out of work and people starving and no end in sight.

My Mrs mate makes and sells cakes she is now classed as a farmer ????

Another cunning stunt to avoid paying people who are starving and getting no government help.
