An atmosphere of peace prevailed on Saturday (May 2) at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat in Phitsanulok, home to Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, considered one of the most beautiful and classical Buddha figures in Thailand.

“The temple implemented public health measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 virus, such as maintaining social distancing and providing alcohol gels and washbasin for people,” the officials said. “Meanwhile, the temple will be officially reopened on May 11.”
