Small petrol/gasoline chipper/mulcher - what's available?

Recommended Posts

When Madam is in pruning mode she generates a lot of prunings. In the past we've burned the lot but she's gone all green on me.

So a mulcher is in order.

Definitely petrol power. What's about, what sort of prices?

This is a large garden, not a farm or smallholding.

Thoughts?

They are in your neck of the woods I believe.

Head East along Rangsit-Nakon Nayok road then turn left onto Klong Sip and they are about 150 metres along on the right.  They make chipper shredders that seemed decent quality to me.  I am unsure whether they make something small enough to meet your requirements though.

The problem is some of Madam's "prunings" are 1.5"in diameter.

Oh dear.

But ecological concerns are sometimes reduced not totally eliminated?

Forget electric I have seen electric ones chopping grass they make hard work of it, as you said you would need at least  3 hp.

The Patipong website has YouTube videos.

Photo of a Patipong chopper ,I think it was 34k, they make smaller ones,  this one is shod with a 7-8hp Chines   engine.

The trouble is with Patipon machines they don't throw the chips far enough....or in the right direction.  I wanted a tow behind unit to hitch behind the farm trailer and shot the chips into the trailer and saw the perfect unit on Alibaba,  then the Wuhan China virus came and nothing happened.  ????
