60 day extension documents

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I have a one year non O multi entry. Based on marriage obtained in Savannakhet I want to extend it for 60 days. What documents do I need to show at the local immigration office?

You are included in the amnesty until 31st July. Why don't you wait ?

Your wife will need to be with you when you apply.

You will need your marriage certificate and a copy of it. Copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card. Some offices also want a copy of your Kor Ror 2 marriage registry that has been recently updated at a Amphoe.

He needs a real extension so that he can apply for teaching license waiver.

Because I need to apply for a temporary teaching permit with krusapa and have been informed by admin at my school that current visa needs to be no less than 30 days, it expires on 26th May.

I created a separate post regarding the waiver, and Joe kindly informed me of the info I required

Thanks again Joe, I've actually never been asked to update the Kor Ror. Original is 2006. Immigration in Ubon have known us for a long time not sure if that's why.

That is where I do my one year extensions (on the 12th one now). I have been getting a new one every year since they first asked for one in 2012. Maybe not needed but better than being asked for one and having to rush to get one. Was not given one when we registered our marriage.

What's the process for updating the Kor Ror. I assume it's at local ampher. We actually registered our marriage in Bangkok in 2006

A Kor Ror 2 can be obtained at at any Amphoe. Your wife can easily get one by showing her ID card and completing a form for a fee of 20 baht.
