Sharing a post can land Move Forward Party in serious trouble

Move Forward Party, a reincarnation of Future Forward Party, may face dissolution for sharing images of messages with a political tone that were recently projected in public places across the capital, coalition leader Phalang Pracharat Party (PPRP)’s spokesperson said on Tuesday (May 12).

 

Tipanan Srichana, deputy spokesperson for PPRP, said Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat should clarify whether or not his party was being influenced by the Progressive Movement, as it is in violation of the law on political parties which can lead to dissolution.

 

The Progressive Movement was created by former Future Forward Party members who have been banned from politics for 10 years.

 

Move Forward was linked to the projected messages after its members shared images of the messages posted online by Progressive Movement’s member Pannika Wanich at 9.23am on May.

 

According to the Organic Act on Political Party’s Article 92, political parties that allow an outsider to influence, guide, possess or control them must be dissolved and banned from politics.

 

Tipanan also said the Progressive Movement should stop obsessing about the past, particularly the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship’s 2010 rally, and stop using the movement for their own benefits.

So political parties are forbidden to share images of messages with political tone.

 

I suppose it can get more authoritarian, but not by much. Next up dissidents will be hanging from the trees.

These in charge will go to any length to stop any opposition, and wish to stay in power indefinitely.

The only way they could be ousted would be bloody and messy, and it wouldn't be via a ballot box, and if it doesn't happen, the populace will have to live under this rule for the rest of their lives.

Oh the irony of PPRP saying this when their  real boss is supposed to have nothing to do with politics. Nothing!

wouldnt they just love it if past was forgotten. All the various massacres, murders and dissapearances etc. 

The current bunch of brass controlling this country will do ANYTHING to prevent their heavy handed iron grip from being challenged in any way, Kind of remind me of their cousins in China.

Everything and everyone in the upper echelons of Thailand are part of the problem that holds this country back.

There is no law here. And if there is, it only applies to the opposition. I'm sure Wissanu will be along soon to explain how it's against the law. The man seems to think he is the law.

His role is basically to lie and protect the establishment at all costs. Andrew Drummond's investigation on him that was published last week tells us all we need to know about his character. 

The only way to stop all this is thru the streets... No ballot, or fake democracy will ever remove them from power.

Civil wars have been brewing for several years in many countries of the world, but have not happened because people always are optimistic from nature, and always tried to think a positive way out of the abuse by their governments.

 

The current lockdowns have escalated those feelings, and may be the final drop that overflows the bucket.

 

Germany warned only 2 weeks ago about the high risks of a civil war in Europe.

 

I think the lockdowns in Thailand have the same effect as those in Europe, and we may be in for some serious heat in the foreseeable future.

Wouldn't be the first time... 

There are some backwards people in Phalang Pracharat. How can the nation heal and move forward if the past is swepped under the rug with no justice being sought or done? But let's just forget about it since the injustice was done by 'good' people. Move along people...

Here I was thinking that Prayuth was not a member of PPRP when he attended their rallies and spoke on their stages?

Maybe one day PPRP will be dissolved over mismanagement of the COVID situation!

this shows just how pathetic govt in Thailand really is, the dissolusion was a total fraud because they weere scared they would beat them at the next election and now they are at it again, hopefully thai citizens will realize that this govt needs to go, anyone would be better than these idiots

Does politicians who ask citizens what’s needed fall under the same rule? Political Party’s Article 92, political parties that allow an outsider to influence, guide....... if so then throw change out the window...

Unless they are the PPRP party who jump whenever their military overseers crack the whip.

 

Ban them if you want to ban a party influenced by outside forces.
