I am glad to hear your logic dictates something is wrong with someone who has different political views than you, and off course it is perfectly logical and acceptable to state a group of millions of people have something wrong with them because they have opposition views.

you are right about someone having something wrong with them, and I am sure you agree bigotry is wrong, hopefully you can figure out who the bigot is in this discussion.

Dear diary, Republicans won’t vote democrat, what a bunch of horrible people. How dare them.

You misunderstand....again. There's nothing wrong with voting for a Republican as long as he or she is qualified for the office they seek.

Obviously and sadly that is not the case with Trump.

As usual, Trump does not want to be accountable for anything, and wants someone to blame in case it goes wrong.

(Early) opening is a political decision that bears an health cost (more people get sick, more die, etc...), and an economic benefit.

It's the duty of a country leader is to make a political decision, not his health advisor's duty. The decision must be made by assessing costs and benefits, For example, as most Trump supporters advocate, a country leader can decide that the economic benefits are worth paying the health price ( more deaths, etc...). Whether he is right or wrong, he will be accountable for it.

But Trump doesn't want to bear any responsibility. He would like Fauci to lie and downplay health risk. If it later happens that citizen are not happy with the health consequences of an early opening, he wants to be able to say: "this is not my fault, even my advisor said there was a low risk."

Now Trump is angry. If he further pushes early opening and it goes wrong, he has been warned. He will not be able to blame someone else.

Of course he will........

He will likely accuse the Dems and the deep state to sabotage the health situation. But it will not be very convincing outside of his core fans base.

And my point was that Mr Trump always calls out the experts. I just wonder how much this man really knows. By the way, I not collecting any checks.

You do recall stating that people who still support President Trump have something wrong with them?

I do not particularly care why you do not like President Trump but thanks for the deflection from your your statement  where you said I must have something wrong with me because millions of us support someone you dislike.

The Cambridge English Dictionary defines Bigotry ;

the fact of having and expressing strong, unreasonable beliefs and disliking other people who have different beliefs or a different way of life.

Who is that describing? Me, for questioning your statement about all Trump supporters? Sounds like it is the words of your post being described there.

What was the last item on your hilarious list? The one right before there are many more.

Trump doesn't seem to understand that the idea of appointing experts is to listen to their expertise!

If has his own ideas and doesn't want to know about anything different.

As for lying - well, he fits right into the modern political class then. And absurdly, these pathological liars, of both sides of the political divide, keep getting re-elected and continue lying whilst lining their own pockets.

Again that claim about lying. Nobody likes as much as Trump, unrivaled. Nobody lies as bad as Trump, but nobody cares about facts, just double down and forget about it.

Naive, fools, easily led, want to believe what they want to believe etc etc etc.

You very much hit the nail on the head. The left wing liberal view seems to be that rules, laws, honesty, etc are things they can use against their opponents; but don't apply to themselves.

In the UK, the amount of lies and hypocrisy associated with the Labour Party over decades is staggering. Yet they still trot out the same <deleted> over and over again; especially at elections. And some people still lap it up. i'm not suggesting that other sides of the political spectrum don't lie. They just don't seem so hypocritical about it. Nor so insulting of the electorate's intelligence.

Do you have numbers confirming they don't?

I don't suppose that you can see that the definition you have quoted as regards bigotry does not apply to those instances listed by Karen Bravo!

Your dictionary definition says, "intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself", and that is totally different from disliking someone who continually lies (that is not a difference of opinion), someone who steals from charities, because again that is not a difference of opinion, and so on, in fact these are nothing to do with intolerance against someone else's beliefs, but a disliking towards someone being a crook, a liar, and a thief.

And if you really want to test out your definition, then in the same context, you would defend a mass murderer.

No this is not an intolerance towards those who have a difference of opinion, this is a dislike for those that have done wrong, continually lie and are putting other people's lives in danger.

For you to hide behind this wrongly attributed definition of trumps actions, is laughable.

Trump is more transparent in his lying, and does it individually. Unlike seasoned politicians who do it collectively - knowing they can fool some people all the time.

If he's more transparent in his lying then how come you and a great many others fall for it all the time? What does that say about you do you think?

Not true at all. When 45 lies he expects, or sometimes demands, everyone around him to back him up. Hence the most important aspect of "loyalty" in his immediate circle. It is indeed "lying collectively".

Be a good idea if you are going to vote, that you understand and or approve of their policies, ethics, and their ability to act responsibly and competently. Then look at the Party .
