Just FYI my well at home in Cherngtalay which is circa 10 meters deep, never had less than 2.5 meters of water in it this "dry" season, oh and I don't drink the water but we shower, clean teeth, wash dishes etc etc with it completely unfiltered (for 10 years now), ....

 

although I have drunk it after a few too many Changs on a number of occasions !
