11.96 million people receive 100 minutes free local voice call

Nearly 12 million numbers have registered to receive free 100 minutes local voice call under the government’s campaigns to help alleviate the people’s financial burden during the Covid-19 situation, National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) secretary-general Takorn Tantasith said on Thursday (May 14).

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's economy probably contracted the most in eight years in January-March, a Reuters poll showed on Friday, as the coronavirus outbreak hit tourism and domestic consumption.

Inter-provincial buses back on the road on May 18

The state-run Transport Co bus operator will resume cross-country services between Bangkok and the North and Northeast on May 18 (Monday), one month after they were suspended to curb the Covid-19 contagion. Services to the South will start on June 1.

Second phase of lockdown relaxation to start from May 17

Health Ministry issues dental clinic COVID-19 guidance

Police yet to file charges for Phuket Zoo claims

PHUKET:-- Two Thais and two foreigners, one Australian and the other American, have yet to have charges formally brought against them for trespass and posting online claims that animals at Phuket Zoo had been abandoned during the COVID crisis as police have yet to conclude their investigation.
