Hi Thai Travellers,

I'm going to meet up with a friend in Thailand, we'll be arriving from different countries so to make things simple, we just wanna turn up to Bangkok and take things from there.

Just would like to know, how easy to just get on a flight or a bus and take an excusion to another city?

Ideally, I would like to do Bangkok - Phuket - Chaing Mai - Bangkok?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very very very easy. First you need to decide when, and how long you want to spend in each place, then decide if it will be by land, rail or sea. Plenty of travel agents or the internet for flights.

yep super easy, but Phuket - Chiang Mai is a bit of trek, you may want to fly that part

Right ok, thanks for both or your responses...yeah going to fly of course...probably spend 5 days in Phuket so that it covers the weekend...what's better for night life in Phuket? weekday or weekend..

every nights a party night in Phuket - you may want to check up on when the Buddhist days are, - no alcohol allowed on those days
