(Photo courtesy of the company) BANGKOK -- The novel coronavirus pandemic has prompted Thailand's major telecom operators to rev up deployment of fifth-generation technologies, making it the first country in the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations to have commercial 5G services. Thailand's top two mobile operators Advanced Info Service and True Corp. are racing to deploy 5G networks at hospitals to lend support to doctors and medical personnel fighting the coronavirus. AIS on May 11 revealed that the company had set aside up to $1.2 billion for investment in 5G network expansion, aiming to cover around 13% of the total Thai population by the end of this year. I would suggest you read some real science on the matter and not crack-pot conspiracy theories https://www.icnirp.org/en/applications/5g/index.html 1 2

JohnBZ
Do Thailand mainly use Huawei 5G gears? If that is the case, there might be delay as US commence department just tighten the export control on Huawei so the company may not have critical ICs to meet its shipments. I do not see Thailand roll out 5G in great numbers any time soon. China just got started and the developed counties are deporting 5G slowly for some reasons. Large scale use of 5G in Thailand is at least 2 years away.

"Conspiracy Theory" - A pejorative used by individuals with lower than average intelligence and an inability to engage in basic logical analysis in order to disparage someone who questions a narrative that they themselves blindly accept after watching propaganda laced television or information originating from an authoritative' propaganda source on their social-media screen. Also a pejorative used by shills. People have the right and responsibly to question the effects of new technology. History is littered with examples of scientific and technocratic 'experts' lying for financial and scientific gain to the detriment of the population who are adversely effected by what is released into the environment. There is so much projection going on, I don't know where to start. Real conspiracies do exist. Volkswagen conspired to cheat emissions tests for their diesel engines. The U.S. National Security Agency secretly spied on civilian internet users. The tobacco industry deceived the public about the harmful health effects of smoking. We know about these conspiracies through internal industry documents, government investigations, or whistleblowers. Conspiracy theories, by contrast, tend to persist for a long time even when there is no decisive evidence for them. Those conspiracy theories are based on a variety of thinking patterns that are known to be unreliable tools for tracking reality. Typically, conspiracy theories are not supported by evidence that withstands scrutiny but this doesn’t stop them from blossoming.
