Sorry, already answered in a thread on World News forum. And the answer is ir starts on the 9th of June. 

Starts on 8th June as far as I know . Which is why I’m getting on a plane to uk that arrives at 8pm on the 7th June . ????

Be clear in understanding the difference between 'quarantine' and 'self-isolation' (or even just proving an address where you state that you will reside for the next 14 days).

There is a long list of exemptions to the 14 day UK quarantine rule. Might be worth a look if anyone is planning coming here. Easily found online.

    Plus, it is subject to review after 3 weeks so whatever the rules are now it is worth keeping an eye on.
