Labour federation opposes proposed rehabilitation scheme for THAI

 

 

Thailand’s Federation of State Enterprise Labour Relations, the umbrella organization of state enterprise unions, has voiced its strong objection to a court-sanctioned rehabilitation scheme for Thai Airways International, saying that it does not trust the government-initiated plan.

 

Federation member unions, and staff of THAI, held a brain-storming session on Tuesday, to discuss the planned rehabilitation under the protection of the Thai bankruptcy law, and agreed to set up a parallel rehabilitation committee to monitor the official process.

 

In a statement, issued today, the federation claimed that THAI proposed its own rehabilitation plan two years ago, through the State Enterprise Policy Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The plan was approved by the cabinet at that time, without the participation of the THAI labour union.

cha cha's jackboots are pressed against the neck of at least one golden goose. But if you want people to know the truth, you best start telling it. 

 

Was there an article some years back that spoke of entitled people getting free fuel and maintenance on their private jets, as well as, free airfare on the airline itself ?   More than that, THAI just cannot compete with Cathay or other airlines.       

 

I will NEVER fly Thai so long as the junta is in charge of the country.

Fair go. The PM is still trying to sort out the overcharging on the 80 B lottery tickets. 

A few more years, or another decade and it will be fixed.

No matter how you look at this, it smacks of Prayut government interference, Interference from Thai governments is nothing new, however , now's the time for Thai Int to make a clean start , ain't going to happen though.
