grievances doesnt give ANYONE the right to burn and loot, to shoot and kill, to burn and destroy. Its pure mob violence. How about the majority of other ppl the citizens who are terrorized by these riots? Riots are NOT protests. A true leader wouldnt wait but restore order in the cities. Arrest everybody and lock them up in a football stadium. And shop owners should patrol their shops with a gun in their hand and protect their shops.

There are alot of disenfranchised Americans. No doubt about that. But the black folks have it the worst. There is still rampant racism in the US and it is nowhere near a level playing field.

But, when people of color demonstrate they are all labeled rioters and terrorists. Granted there was some rioting. But most were peaceful, at least until the cops started bashing them and gassing them. Based on his recent language, how can we fairly describe the leader of the "free world"? Vicious dogs. You are taking the actions of a minority whom reports say come from all aspects of political spectrum, as being what the protests are all about. You have no interest in looking at the root causes. Trump mentions Antifa and you run with it because it supports you political agenda.

There are indeed Antifa activists taking part in the protests, just as there are rightwing extremists doing their thing to stoke violence at the protests.

White protestors were left alone. The police just let them do what they wanted. No one in riot gear. Black people start protesting and were immediately met by police in riot gear and tear gas being fired. The police have had a massive role in ramping up the violence but again that won’t fit many people’s agendas so it will be ignored.

  There are also many videos of police brutality in these protest but again these will be ignored.

I spoke to my mom in Phoenix last night. She said they burned 18 buildings and looted several shopping centers during the weekend. That's not peaceful protesting nor were enough police available to stop that from occurring. I can't see any reports of cops gassing or shooting anyone yet.

A few days ago a CNN news crew was approached by the police. They were ALL displaying their credentials. The cops arrested the black guy. Let that sink in!

The Minneapolis police have to be held accountable for their actions and the department has to be responsible for the failed democratic leadership.

Apparently we're all on the planet you're NOT on. In this specific instance, the protesters were 100% peaceful, but Trump wanted to use the church across the street for an awkward photo op. Far be it from him to ask the protesters kindly to move, he had his military-garbed thugs throw flash grenades and gas at them. This atrocity has been reported multiple times from multiple sources. Like Will Smith recently said, racism isn't going away, it's just getting filmed.

OK, let's say an ignorant position like this should be considered (it shouldn't, but we'll entertain it for the sake of argument).

 

From a purely economical standpoint, the largest corporations (Walmart, Nike and the such) should realize systemic racism isn't a profitable business model. And let's face it, THEY'RE the ones who REALLY run the country, so they should address racism, eliminate racism, then everyone goes on fine fat happy and sassy.
