Don Mega
Are they extruded or die cast ?
Puchaiyank
Welding aluminium may prove problematic...unlike steel. Have you considered using PVC pipe to marry the broken pieces together?

Have you considered using PVC pipe to marry the broken pieces together? I came on here with the same point of view. Don't weld it as it's frightful hard to do a good job. Better to insert a steel pipe of correct diameter INSIDE the Aluminium tube and pop rivet it in place. Even better can do it yourself with a cheap pop riveter and drill. The shop that sells the steel tube will cut it to the correct length. Using steel makes it stronger and less likely to break again. Make the steel tube as long as possible.

If extruded my tube solution obviously won't work, but could use a piece of flat steel and pop rivet it together.

misterangry
Yes its diecast, have come up with an idea of bracing it from the underside, if it works will post a picture. Thanks for your suggestions and ideas, really appreciate it
