Typical attitude of especially the English... still thinking it is all theirs'

It's called the British Isles made up of the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The facts are quite simple.

Any good pub scientist could tell you that beer, all brands, types, etc kill covid-19. Party on!

I'm not sure the Irish would appreciate the term 'British Isles '. Just saying....

Just a quick geography lesson for you. Ireland IS part of the British Isles.

It's a geographic term, not a political one.

This is a real dilemma.

We went out for lunch yesterday at one of our favorite restaurants.

The local ordinance allowed them to open, but only with 50% seating capacity. I'm not sure what business is modeled to make any profit if they only can operate at 50%

Let some customers get Corona and die and it might perhaps help to keep distance. People start to forget the reason for all this.

Basically. The pubs whinged when they banned smoking. Miraculously they seemed to get through that.

This is a temporary thing needed to deal with a fairly contagious bug.  Or perhaps they prefer another inevitable shutdown?
