Minister oversees school entrance exam centre

Education Minister Nataphol Teepsuwan visited Chonradsadornumrung School in Chonburi province to inspect the Matthayom 1 entrance examination centre on Saturday (June 6).

 

 

After the inspection, he found that the school had implemented measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, such as arranging seats to maintain social distancing and sanitising the rooms to ensure safety of the test-takers and staff.

 

 

"This showed the school's readiness for the new semester on July 1 this year," he said. "Therefore, we would like to ask school operators and teachers to make preparations for education in the new normal era."

If (perish the thought) the government had the slightest leaning towards being an authoritarian regime these practices, controlling peoples movement, social activities, and determining exactly how they are to live, and how (or even if) people are to be allowed to conduct their businesses would be a veritable wet dream to the sort of people who favour black polo shirts tucked into black "business trousers".  Lucky that it is just a set of simple precautions to hamper the spread of the virus isn't it?
