Having read a couple of thousand threads on visas, and at least comforted that many others are as confused as I am, I wondered if it would be possible for a couple of the "knowledgeable ones" on the board to draw some sort of flow diagram of the different visas to get into Thailand?

something like:

You want to go to Thailand

>>holiday>30 day visa on arrival(+7 days)

>Visa from Thai embassy(30days+30+14+7)

OR extended stay>Retirement visa(+50 years and 800k baht or 40k/month)

>Business visa( conditions ?)

>Study visa (conditions ?)

but someone with some clear understanding could do a far more comprehensive diagram.

I know most of the info is available on different parts of the forum, but I simply thought by pulling it together it may clarify the system. I guess you could add links to pages with all the details.
