Extremists, right or left, feed off each other, it's a symbiotic relationship. 

Thailand's far right controls the country. They've been removing the plaques and statues relating to Democracy for the last six year or so. They want to go back to the time before Democracy. They are just late doing it. It's the reverse of what is happening in the west right now where liberals are trying to get rid of the monuments relating to oppression and slavery. I bet there are other countries like Thailand which are actually raising statues of fascists and dictators. Look around this stuff is constantly going on around the globe.

Police were acting in accordance with legislation under the Terrorism Act; go and read the Court's decision on the matter. If the guy had complied to a lawful request he would have had no problem so long as the content on his phone didn't breach any laws.

I would say it’s even more unfortunate that the forum appears to be swamped by supporters/sympathisers of the Left. TVF and it’s advertisers are probably satisfied with the increased traffic from either side. Others, well......

 

Terrorist charges for refusal to access a SIM is clearly politically motivated police harassment. No doubt about that.  Over the past couple of weekends the police have brazenly displayed that bias.

Why is it all the headlines anymore classify anyone who doesn't drink the socialist kool-aid as "far right." It's crazy what the narrative has turned into.  If you protest being locked in your house you are considered "far right."  But I have yet to see a single headline about the "far left" who are burning down buildings.

Claimed racism is not always real. When you export a protest the real life situation in the 2nd country might not be the same.
If you have Antifa type folks leading these rallys then is not the ordinary citizen allowed to protest about the protest?

If I do, does that make me far right, when I'm just exercising my right to free speech as an ordinary citizen?
Mostly I think it's about power, influence and money in some countries.

This 'Far Right' lark is all the more ridiculous when aimed at people that are happily married outside their own culture/religion/Country with dual national kids.

 

Many years ago I recall a "Racist" case collapsing in the old Bailey when the bloke in question wrong footed the prosecution by calling his own wife in his defence. She until then had been completely overlooked & no one thought twice about his domestic situation, but the court erupted in fits of laughter when the door opened and.....in walked his ethnic Chinese wife whose very presence torpedoed the case against him in a one-er! ????

 

(She was so short that she couldn't see over the dock while trying to give evidence. No Judge could prevent the laughter that followed a ballsup like that!)

This is journalism for you nowadays. The moral judgement is implied in the headline itself. Far-right vs. Anti-racist. The implication being of course that being right-wing is inherently racist. I previously stated where you can get the violent crime and murder stats from, in this thread. Ie the FBI's own website. Or a simple google search "race and crime in the united states". Some of those are very misleading though, with their "White" numbers, as SOME of them throw Latinos in with "White". While some Latinos are White (Criollos for example), most are certainly not.

Another lightning arrest yet they still haven't caught the spray painters & arsonist who had a full week's head start on this latest one

You got a point.  they have called everyone racist soo much it no longer has meaning.  Now they need a new name to call people to silence them when they cant argue ideas.  "far right" seems to be the recent one of choice.  this way you need to first argue your way out of that classification and "prove" your not one of those dreadful souls.

Again read the Court's decision rather than repeating ill-informed commentary, police acted within the law.

Police brazenly displaying bias towards those demonstrating from the left of politics - rather than repeating without evidence - provide links where police took no action against those braking the law when they has sufficient resources available to respond.

Federal Reserve? - I assume you're talking about alleged events in the US. As this topic is in reference to the UK, please inform who from the right wing, not far right extremists, in the UK have been fired from their jobs for articulating their opinions; two or three examples, with links, is sufficient.
