Woman arrested for allegedly brutally murdering her father

A woman suspected of murdering her father and cutting off his genitals before fleeing the scene on June 16 was arrested while she walking on a street around 2.30am in Bangkok on Wednesday.

Police also recovered a knife that was used in the murder. However, she was not very conscious and unable to speak, police said. The officers have let her rest and will further interrogate her when she is ready.

Tung Song Hong Police Station was informed on Tuesday evening about the murder at a house Lak Si district where a 58-year-old man was found dead covered in blood.

The victim had severe wounds on the face and his genitals were dismembered while the prime suspect, his daughter, 29, was missing from the house.

Witnesses said the deceased had just returned home from a hospital and soon his daughter also arrived at the house. Neighbours could not hear any conversation between the two due to the rain.

The daughter later left the house with a bag, with bloodstains on her. The neighbours decided to enter the house and then called the police on seeing the blood-soaked man.

The deceased’s wife told the police that their daughter used drugs since a very young age, which made her emotionally unstable while her husband was hot-tempered and often fought with the daughter.

How is she able to control her daughter's drug habit? You obviously have had nothing to do with drug addicts which I find surprising. I thought everyone at least knows an alcoholic.

  • Yes points towards abuse of father on daughter.  (speculation of course) but in general cutting of genitals points towards something sexual and drug use at young age can also be explained by this.

  • Tragedy all around, one has to query why the drug use from and early age, and also the attack on his genitals.   Mother has now lost daughter even more than before and her husband, terrible

Guess he will be leaving his daughter alone from now on.

And the mother wasn't able to control her daughter's drug habit while she was still "very young"? Great parenting!

Another Bobbitt....

But again its just speculation.

Sexual abuse from a parent can lead to drug use and the severing of genitals. Just a theory that has been proven before.

So, where's the duck?

I've been a weightlifter for 45 years, and I'm the last one to ever hurt a child. Not a good conjecture by any means. And a crime like that does point towards sexual abuse/ Murder is one thing, for beatings and such, but cutting off genitals, that's something different.

Huge leap...that's like saying guys who like weight lifting tend to be paedo's...no offense meant....It's somebody's life you are talking about,

I think your leap is a bit different, this is something that has a basis in science. I seen references to it in some documentaries. havent seen weightlifting paedo link, a teacher paedo link would be more logical. (just saying and no offence to teachers meant as the majority of good teachers outweighs the bad ones)

Speculation one hopes which will be investigated by the police and prosecution

You seem to have had quite a career Fred. Is there anything you haven't done?

I wonder how people come up with these weird comments. Stick to the topic. His comment was uncalled for.

Do you think it was bad parenting or the fact that the father started molesting her at 10 years old that turned her to drugs? Maybe you should think next time before posting.

How many alcoholics do you know who are at a "very young age" (which I define as 5 to 10 years old). Now, I doubt that the girl started taking drugs when she was 10. But even if she was 14 or 15, shouldn't the mother have stepped in? I know I would have.

Cause of death ?

drugged up,but cognitive enough to go out in the rain, to look for the duck...

Taking this leap to the extreme, just as the police force is going to attract psycho nutters who want to beat people up while protected by a badge, so also must there be, lurking out there, people who only have children so that they can molest them whenever they feel like it. Hopefully this would be a minute percentage, but mathematically speaking it has to occur to some degree ????

"who says it was not papa..."

Me.  I'm not saying that and neither should anyone else say it without evidence.

Where did it say that it was "a fact" that he molested her?  Maybe you should think next time before posting.
