Trying to get ahead of the news cycle...if the country wakes up to his tweets he sets the narrative for the day...I do not like Trump but it would be ignorant to not acknowledge that he understands media...ultimately that will be a substantial part of what he is remembered for.

He may understand media but I think his morning tweets are nothing but poor political discipline. He is impulsive and can’t stand criticism and his counter punch instinct override his discipline and he must react instantly with tweets. He tweets the whole day and the some of his controversial tweets like Obamagate was in the middle of the day.

Protection of DACA immigrants is popular even among Republicans according to virtually all polls. Trust Trump to make a bad situation for himself even worse. Now he's promising to release a list of judges for replacement on the supreme court. Odd are good that not only will he will list only anti-DACA judges, but anti-Obamacare judges as well. William Barr urged Trump to withdraw from joining in with the States in their suit to get rid of Obamacare. He understand that it was not a wise move. Particularly in an election taking place when millions of Americans have lost their jobs and with it their medical coverage.
