Washington (CNN)As European Union nations continue to ease coronavirus restrictions, the EU is considering recommending that member states block American visitors from visiting their countries due to the surge of coronavirus cases in the US, according to two EU diplomats.

"The criteria will be focused on circulation of the virus," said one EU diplomat, adding that Brussels is looking to keep out travelers from countries "where the virus is circulating most actively."
No final decisions have been made and it is ultimately up to individual members to decide who can enter each country.

USA the new virus and protest spreaders 555

Protest spreaders won't surface for another week or two. These are from the early openings... Two more weeks for the protesters to start to be hospitalized.

For those of you that are confused, it's 2 to 3 weeks after infection before you get sick, then another 2-3 weeks after that that the hospitalizations increase.

I didn't mean the protesters getting the virus, but as in the USA spreading protests around the world.

Funny how when the USA wants to block people for any reason, from terrorism to public health, its met with absolute outrage from certain groups yet Im positive that we wont hear a peep from these same people over the above other than:

Barring the entry of people coming from countries with a high infection rate would seem a reasonable thing to do. The USA set an example at the end of January:

In Thailand, as the emergency restrictions are being gradually eased, the discussion is to start allowing entry selectively for persons from countries with a very small number of new Covid-19 cases, so-called travel bubbles.
