Popular Post Susco
last week I was looking for air fryer, found one that I liked and at the right price, so put it in my cart without checking out yet. The next day I opened the cart, and noticed the item had increased by 100 Baht. Sent the seller a message that he just lost out on a sale because of the price increase, and he tells me it's the Lazada system that does this. So yesterday I was looking for a specific model of Android tv box, found what I wanted, memorized the prices and the sellers, and went to bed. This morning I went back to the same listings, and those that I had watched last night were now slightly increased in price. Some that were listed as free shipping, now had a shipping cost of 5 Baht, while still carrying the label free shipping. In fact every listing had the shipping cost increased by 5 or 10 Baht, and some had the item price increased as well. So I opened a private browser window, and searched for the same items. Now the very same listings, from the very same sellers, were back to the price they were yesterday. All free shippings are free again in the private window, and all others have their shipping costs and listing price back to the same level as yesterday. Amazing not? 3

Popular Post robblok
What is amazing is that you worry about 5bt shipping. I just think its an error in the system not a scam. Who in its right mind would increase prices by 5 baht to make a profit. 4

If you had bothered to read the whole post, you would have noticed that the air fryer increased by 100 Baht overnight, and that the seller confirmed the Lazada system does this, so it's obviously not an error 3
Popular Post VocalNeal
It is just like shopping in the real world. Go to a market stall and see an interesting item. How much? Given a price but decide maybe you don't need it now. Return a day/week later pick up the same item. How much? Answer slightly more than before because now you are interested. Lazada knows exactly what you look at and how often. Same thing happens with air flight prices. Moral? Buy it the first time to get the cheapest price.

Unfortunately, my moral is, do your research before you decide on a certain item, and often that has paid off

The money goes to the seller lazada is a trading platform. It does not get money from sales. It probably gets a commission but 5bt and then a percentage on that is nothing. Besides like an other poster said the deal on the screen is the deal you get if you don't seal the deal right then its your own fault. If lazada does this its an error, its more likely for a seller to do this. It is the seller that pockets most of the money not lazada.

Now ....... multiply that by thousands of sales, and you get a very tasty number. Then add up the daily figures over the course of a financial year, and we get into some real nice numbers. ???? 3

But purchasing is a different dynamic. I'm not a computer genius so i don't know how Lazada identifies browsing people. Maybe going to a different Starbucks with a different Wifi system would help? Ah no wait. Maybe a different Lazada logon name as well as different Wifi? Edited June 29, 2020 by VocalNeal
