HPMCP/enteric coated capsules available anywhere?

Hi everyone.

 

I am trying to find a source in Thailand for empty enteric coated capsules, also known as acid resistant capsules. These are capsules which are specifically coated to resist digestion in the stomach and deliver a substance directly to the upper GI tract. The typical manufacturing process for these is HPMCP, or hypromellose phthalate, but any equivalent method would be acceptable.

 

I have searched around in the markets that sell gelcaps and can not find anything, nor have I been able to find anything from a local source online. I have ordered some from China, but they won't be here for 3 weeks.  I was hoping someone in the forum might know a source where I can buy them.

 

Does anyone have any information on this?
