That sure as heck looks like a noose.  White and black America sees things very differently and this is one of those examples.  A white person may see a noose and not think much of it.  A black person sees it starkly different...and I can certainly imagine why.  Sinister, menacing, threatening.  At least we can try and empathize with Wallace's reaction.  

Hanging in the USA was a legit form of execution till 1960's in some states. Some want to associate the noose with only blacks in lynching's. Time to let lose.
