Thailand's drugs war: Narcotics worth 198 million baht seized

Thailand's drug suppression police announced developments in three cases involving methamphetamine, compressed ganja and ketamine valued at 198 million baht. 

 

In total 1,486,000 Ya Ba pills, 2,400 kilos of marijuana and six kilos of ketamine were seized.

Also confiscated were houses, land and vehicles used by various gangs. 

 

In Case One a 24 year old couple were stopped in a Hyundai van in Sakon Nakhon with 400 kilos of compressed ganja.

 

In Case Two three people were arrested with 1.4 million Ya Ba pills in an Isuzu.

 

In Case Three in Udon Thani a convoy of six people in several vehicles were arrested with 2,000 kilos of compressed ganja and six kilos of ketamine.

I see the pat-on-the-back-brigade were out in full.

 

Also wearing those face-shields that one of the government doctors said publicly a couple of weeks ago were 'useless on their own without a face-mask'.

Two questions spring to mind.

 

Is there any policy with regard to recycling, or is it up to the most "influential" bloke around?

 

Is there any significance in the three "ninjas" and an ATM in the background?
