Would you (or did you) ever trade your Wife in for a younger model?

You know that old saying that blokes used to spout off, especially on building sites and the like back home “I’m gonna trade my mrs in for a younger model.”

how many of you dudes out there actually went and did it?

i appreciate many of you may have been married to a western woman back home,

did you bin her off for a young, slim 19 year old beauty from Isaan?

or did you bring your wife with you??

i know many blokes who used to say these words but never actually did it.

they are still stuck in bootle with their 57 year old scouse wives.

for me personally, I’ve always had a thing for the uni student types and have dated 1 or 2 in the past.. always felt they were a bit immature though after the initial 3 days or so..
playing with phones at the table when having dinner,

always wanting to go for party With friends etc..

had a lot of fun in the sack though, but once that is over a younger girl isn’t really girlfriend/marriage material IMO.

I came to Thailand on a 2 week holiday and stayed 12 years (so far).

My 51 year old Brit wife divorced me in my absence. 

I was already living with a 32 year old lady from Korat at the time of the divorce.

 

Mobile phones.

When it's bed time I turn the TV off, and tell my 8 year old to go to sleep.

I then prise the mobile phone out of my girlfriend's hand, and tell her it's bedtime.

I have to be quite firm with both of them.

I've traded in twice since then.

Lady from Korat is now an overweight housefrau married to an old Dutch guy and running a resort in Chiang Mai.

She already had the house (with outstanding mortgage), he paid for the resort.

I wonder if she still demands sex 5x a day?

Why would anyone want to stay around for the woman's pleasure in 'divorce torture'?

When they arrange for trips to the dentist or children's parties during your 2 hour visiting slot.

Where they call the police and accuse you of 'stalking', even though you were at home watching TV all day.

I remember my solicitor saying, "assume she can block 99% of access for at least the next 5 years"

Then I told her, "you want them that much, you have them" ..... got on a plane, and never saw them or her again.

Only took me 3 years to create new kids.

All Thais: Ex-Wife was 2yrs older than me. Next GF was 10yrs younger than me, subsequent GF was 17yrs younger than me and current GF 23 years younger. Leaving the ex was nothing to do with age just her abusive behaviour (mostly mental). Now I'm wondering how/if the 23 year age difference with current GF will play out (I'm 53 and she's 30). Marrying again is out of the question for me. How to stay close to current GF without maximum commitment? - as most here know Thai ladies wan't to seal the deal and lock-in onto a good situation.

Why "create" new kids if you don't want contact with the others? They aren't a commodity to be bought and sold, although that's what a lot think, especially here with all the trafficking. Kids need a dad and a mom or else they grow up with permanent problems dealing with the opposite gender. Girls without dads experiment with boys, looking to find that non existing father figure. Boys think women are to be used and left, just like their dads thought. Kids give you a lot of s*&t, and tell you you aren't doing your "job", because they don't understand what having children is until they have some of their own. Unappreciative to the core, at least until they turn 25 to 30, when reality sets in, and they see the sacrifices you've made. I came to Thailand on my bucket list, and met a wife, and then "created" another kid, and that is why my bucket list is on hold, and I hope I live long enough to both see my daughter grow up and end up with a responsible, loving husband, and to finish my bucket list.
