@CH1961

No need to be un valaisan de vernamiège to understand such situation could be more complex.

As a father and husband with non-o multiple we are used to move all family each year to your (and my) native country.

This year it's not possible. So we stay in Thailand.

We are not tourist. Artist, wish we are sometimes. Think twice before writing.

Thanks. Bonne.

What are you talking about?

Why do you have to move all your family every year to Switzerland?

You can stay now in Thailand, so why are you whining?

You are Romande?

Just glad I decided to do my 90 days the conventional way in April.  Due again 27th July - think I'll pop down to Sio 5 tomorrow and avoid the mayhem (if they haven't fixed the on-line problems, or the Queq thingy isn't working).

there’s so many flights being cancelled (can’t even see any flights to the US), it makes booking a flight and then waiting for a cancellation refund to be able to afford to book the next flight that’ll run a high risk of being cancelled, and then waiting for that cancellation refund to book the next flight......  etc etc.

There are no direct flights to the USA, you have to transit.  Choose one that you can see departs regularly so you know it's running and you should be fine.

Many people here hope for a happy ending.

Happy ending is one of the reasons why we all are here...

They promised an announcement too:

"The Immigration Bureau is discussing the possibility of extending visa amnesty for foreigners stranded in Thailand, Foreign Ministry’s deputy spokesperson Natapanu Nopakun said at the daily Covid-19 briefing on Friday (July 3).

The Cabinet’s last resolution was to grant an automatic visa extension for foreigners stranded here to stay until July 30.

Natapanu asked people to be patient, adding that the immigration bureau’s decision on the subject will be made public soon." link https://www.nationthailand.com/news/30390732

How many days before the amnesty was supposed to end did they extend it in April? During the last week of April if I recall?
