What are the do's and don'ts when meeting a Thai businessman for the first time.

For example. In Japan, when you exchange business cards, you should hand yours and recive his/hers with BOTH hands. Then, after studying for some time, place it in front of you on the table for reference (not in your pocket,wallet etc).

Can the forum give any advice for the Thai protocols. Should you initiate or even respond to a wai?) If he is subordinate or higher in status is there a difference in greeting?
