Jerome Adams knows if he doesn't parrot the party line, he'll be on the pavement looking for a job. And the BEST part of all this? Once these people have publicly sold their souls, their credibility is shot and they can't find a job. The only place for them is Fox, and even THEY turned away Spicer.

I do not disagree with you regards Jerome Adams I was actually defending Fauci from a previous post from another member stating he was old and out of touch and needed the views of younger medical professionals

I trust Dr Fauci, an expert in their field, a person who is prepared to change their views based on evidence and new information, someone who has decades of experience to draw upon over blowhard narci

  • Trump and the early opening states were wrong anyone but a Trump follower can see that. I think that even Trump followers can see it they just can't admit it ????

Would any rock be big enough to hide Trump's ego ?

I think  initially masks were looking like in severe shortage for health care workers much less for the masses.  so Fauci had to conserve masks for HCW.  Same in Thailand initially.  you still  cant buy N95 masks here in the USA.  I just wish we all had to get a tag tattooed on our right hand so in the future I would know which people still support tRump July 2020.  it was one thing to vote for him. but if you still support  him now I want no part of you in my life or to benefit you or  your business for the rest of my life.  To me this is a death line.  It is separation of good amd evil,  ignorant  vs enlightenment.

And so should the people who helped get him elected.  You're talking about DT, right?

Trump is seeking a scapegoat for his pitiful response to the corona virus pandemic.  Dr. Fauci has been selected as the fall guy for everything that Trump did wrong.  I doubt that Trump will come out of this smelling like roses as he hopes!

Vote in November!

Vote in November!

Dr. Fauci has kept his lip tight until the 45 administration started flinging poo. The doctor's rebuttal has been polite, factual, and the medical community has come forth to support him as well.

Ditto on the vote in November.

What do you call a layman when an "expert" can't seem to figure out the basics?

What would be those basics he can not figure out?

Rubbish. He has given his life to infectious diseases and is acknowledged as an expert.

Perhaps some would prefer a non expert that just falls in line with trump.

Chuck Woolery comes to mind

The attacks on Dr. Fauci seem to have boomeranged on the trump whitehouse.

Rarely do you see trump back off like he did.

Who knew that firing Dr. Fauci would be a bridge too far?

Dr. Fauci

Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases 1984-present

Expert on HIV, AIDS, SARS, Swine Flu, Ebola, MERS

Cheated on his SAT's

Brother's friend admitted him to Fordham U, conceals his grades

"An idiot" Gen John Kelly, Reince Priebus

"A <deleted> moron" Secretary of State Tillerson

"A dope, a kindergartner," Lt. Gen McMaste

"Dumb as s**t," Econ Advisor Gary Cohn

"The dumbest student I ever had," Wharton Professor William T. Kelley

Can't you see the difference?

Like I said, Fauci was good back in his day.  Unfortunately the 60's have long passed him by.  Now he jumps on every patent coming out of NIAID and hopes to collect on royalties from said patents.  Amazing that a government person can collect on patents paid for by government salaries.

Why are you bringing up Trump? All I said is both lie. They both lie and have been caught lying.  Fauci just the other day said that coronavirus is the same as the 1918 Spanish Flu in regards to how deadly it is.  He had to walk that back.  Spreading fear and lies.

Both Fauci and Trump lie when it's convenient.  Can you see the similarity?

Well the way the USA is going, if Trump supporters are those who do not wear masks

or social distance, or try be serious about the Covid virus, well maybe a lot of them

will be in the hospitals and other places shortly as there are so many still getting

sick daily.   Not all of them will survive as well. RIP to the old and the young children

who do not deserve to die, because of the carelessness of the middle aged and teens

etc.   USA, what will your population look like in 2021?  Maybe time to think about

that.

Geezer

Well it's not that simple. The idea of everyone wearing masks is that each individual is blocking their own droplets protecting others. So people not wearing masks are aggressively flouting that social responsibility. I guess this isn't the greatest generation of Americans, huh?

No unfortunately it is the M-TV generation...

The current administration just removed existing data from the CDC website. Wasn't the function of Orwell's 1984 main protagonist to rewrite history?

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/16/us-coronavirus-data-has-already-disappeared-after-trump-administration-shifted-control-from-cdc-to-hhs.html

So now the only source of data on the pandemic in America is The Fountain of Truth known as Donald Trump...

it's just panicked barking..

Rubbish, the guy has been involved in politics for numerous presidents spanning decades as the medical mouthpiece.  I'm sure he was great in his day when he was practicing and doing medical research, but those days are long gone.  Ask the majority of doctors who aren't involved in politics how Fauci really has been doing.

"Ask the majority of doctors who aren't involved in politics how Fauci really has been doing."

Since you're apparently in the know, why don't you enlighten the forum? Surely there was some poll taken? Some interviews on the matter by non-hyper-partisan-outlets?

Royalty payments to staff researchers cause new NIH troubles

"Dr Anthony Fauci told the BMJ that as a government employee he was required by law to put his name on the patent for the development of interleukin 2 and was also required by law to receive part of the payment the government received for use of the patent. He said that he felt it was inappropiate to receive payment and donated the entire amount to charity."
