Trans woman caught smuggling 26 kilos of cannabis into the UK
Another genius from the UK 🤦🏻♂️ --- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15005893/Trans-woman-cannabis-sex-change-operation-jailed-mens-prison.html Trans woman caught smuggling 26 kilos of cannabis into the UK to try and fund a sex change operation is jailed for 18 months in a men's prison 10:46, 16 Aug 2025, updated 10:46, 16 Aug 2025 By CIARAN FOREMAN A trans woman who was caught smuggling 26kg of cannabis into the UK in order to fund a sex change operation has been sentenced to 18 months behind bars in a men's prison. Keira Borrett, 46, from Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, was discovered with two suitcases full of the Class B drug when stopped by Border Force officials at London Heathrow Airport on May 23. Borrett, who was born a male but identifies as a woman, had been returning to the UK from Bangkok in Thailand - where Isleworth Crown Court heard the smuggler made a deal to transport the drugs in exchange for £10,000 transitional surgery. Prosecutor Sahra Ali said police had been told how Borrett had bumped into a man from Essex in a Bangkok bar, where the conversation turned to how expensive said surgery had become. After being introduced to accomplices of the Essex man, Borrett received a drop-off by two men in an SUV which contained two 'very heavy' bags, which were then checked in as luggage under Borrett's name. Borrett was instructed to take these bags to a hotel once touching down in the UK and was informed a payment of £10,000 would be sent for doing so - in turn funding the surgery. However, Borrett's attempts were thwarted when the airport luggage check revealed that the two suitcases were stuffed with vacuum-sealed cannabis parcels which had a total value of around £800,000, prompting the smuggler's arrest. Borrett pleaded guilty to smuggling the Class B drug at an earlier hearing. -

Community Pattaya “Baby’s Body” Turns Out to Be Rubber Doll
Pictures courtesy of Kaoded. Residents of South Pattaya were left shaken and then rather red-faced on the night of 24 August, after what appeared to be the body of a baby dumped by the roadside turned out to be nothing more sinister than a life-sized rubber doll. Multiple police and rescue workers rushed to the scene outside a motorcycle showroom on South Pattaya Road after receiving an emergency call from a concerned local. The tip-off seemed grim: a black plastic bag with what looked like a tiny arm sticking out. Crowds gathered as officers cordoned off the area, with whispers spreading quickly that a horrific discovery had been made. The drama reached its climax when rescue volunteers carefully opened the bag, only to reveal a baby-sized rubber doll staring blankly back at them. Relieved gasps and embarrassed laughter quickly replaced the panic. “I honestly thought it was a real baby,” admitted Farid, 33, who reported the find. “You don’t take chances with something like that. Better safe than sorry.” He also recalled seeing a middle-aged foreigner loitering in the area earlier in the day, though whether he had anything to do with the abandoned toy remains a mystery. Police say they will review nearby CCTV footage to determine who left the doll behind. In the meantime, locals are just happy it wasn’t the tragedy they feared. As one onlooker put it with a smile: “Only in Pattaya could a crowd gather for a rubber baby.” Adapted by Asean Now from Kaoded 2025-08-25 -

UK-Politics Farage's Push: Five Daily Migrant Flights and UK Unrest Warning
Nigel Farage predicts chaos unless his bold deportation plans take flight. Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, has sparked controversy with his warning that Britain could descend into unprecedented chaos if his strategy for "mass deportation" of asylum seekers isn't enacted. Farage claims unrest could surpass the infamous 1990 poll tax riots if decisive action isn't taken against illegal immigration. Facing a torrent of criticism, Labour has dismissed his proposal as fanciful, while the Tories accused Farage of merely repackaging their ideas. In a bid to regain control over the growing challenge of small-boat crossings, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch is mobilising Tory councillors. Following a recent legal victory in Epping, Essex, that blocked asylum seekers from being housed in a local hotel, Badenoch plans to arm councillors with the tools needed to challenge Labour's approach and tackle local asylum accommodations. Seeking to outflank both major parties, Farage has unveiled an ambitious £10 billion plan called "Operation Restoring Justice". This bold proposal involves five daily flights deporting migrants and includes barring small-boat arrivals from applying for asylum in the UK. Farage proposes using "surplus" RAF bases to detain up to 24,000 individuals within 18 months. His radical approach includes withdrawing from the European Convention on Human Rights and the UN Convention Against Torture to enable the deportations. Additionally, Farage is exploring potential agreements with "third countries" like Rwanda and Albania to accommodate asylum seekers, with British overseas territories such as Ascension Island serving as backup options. Despite international concerns over human rights, Farage plans to use British diplomatic influence to negotiate return deals with countries like Afghanistan and Eritrea, major sources of small-boat migrants. Farage has defended his plan, stating his primary obligation is to protect British citizens, regardless of the international implications. He insists the situation must be resolved to avoid chaos greater than the poll tax riots, emphasising the urgency of immediate action. Adapted by ASEAN Now from The Daily Mail 2025-08-24
