I give you the green light / go ahead

Stumbled across this today

ผมเอาสีเขียวอ่อนให้คุณแล้ว

Supposedly it means "I'm giving you the green light / go ahead / permission". Can anybody confirm this. My Thai checker is currently busy.

That actually means "I'm giving you light green" (as in a light green colour) rather than "the green light".
I think Thais do use ไฟเขียว as in ผมเอาไฟเขียวให้คุณแล้ว which would give the meaning you're looking for.

It sounds a bit stilted though. Maybe just ผมให้ไฟเขียวคุณแล้ว would sound better.

Thanks. I thought my original sentence sounded a bit "odd".
