Popular Post webfact
Immigration arrest American after alleged application investment scam Picture: INN Thailand's immigration chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang and his Special Crime Operations Sub-Division announced the arrest of a US national on a warrant for fraud. It is claimed that Matthew, 37, sought investment for an app to make finding a condo, house, work or childcare easy. The American allegedly took 300,000 baht of the victim's money then disappeared without making any company registration with the money. The victim even claimed that the American opened an obscene website with the money instead. He was caught hiding at a hotel in the Wattana area of downtown Bangkok, reported INN, who said that he was named in a warrant for fraud issued by the Phra Nakhon South court. So, then you are saying that just because we have Google, then there is no need for any apps, right? You do now that even Google themself have a place called Play Store?

Caldera
I don't mind that they nabbed him, but business seems to be slow at immigration police headquarters if the boss man gets involved personally when a mere 300,000 baht disappeared.
rickudon
I think the investors misunderstood the plan - make a porn website, and fill it with adverts for houses, etc. - free advertising!
