The first 3 numbers dictate what branch it is.

I think that that may not be true for all accounts as the certainly have more than 999 branches. 2 of mine do 1 does not.

A lot of the free VPN Android apps are from China and very bad in variety of ways...

But for emergency use, you could use the Opera web browser and its built-in free VPN capability.

Another free Windows PC VPN that's supposedly OK for limited use is TunnelBear, which will give you 500MB of internet usage with their VPN for free.

Error 1005 Ray ID: 5b7be8420d9f632f • 2020-07-24 07:25:26 UTC

Access denied

What happened?

The owner of this website (transferwise.com) has banned the autonomous system number (ASN) your IP address is in (23969) from accessing this website.

Cloudflare Ray ID: 5b7be8420d9f632f • Your IP: 101.109.149.207 • Performance & security by Cloudflare

That message has no actual meaning, other than “there’s a problem at the TransferWise end”

Actually it says TransferWise is rejecting any IP packets that were handled by the Service Provider router with the ASN identification of AS23969).

According to online records that ASN is assigned to TOT, and that router handles an IP range or 1179 C block addresses (almost 301825 IPs).

Why someone on their end set that block by ASN???

I know what it says.

However the actual meaning of the rejection of a small block of IP addresses is of little help, as the address are not universally rejected as I posted above

The money is in a Thai account but it is an international transfer as they exchange your foreign account money for it.  To make sure it is coded here as international select the reason for transfer as long term stay in Thailand.
