WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday signed four executive orders aimed at lowering the prices Americans pay for prescription drugs, as he faces an uphill re-election battle and criticism over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Tourism industry expected to get Bt6.8-billion boost this weekend

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said that the long holiday weekend from July 25 to 28 is expected to generate around Bt6.8 billion revenue for the tourism industry with hotel occupancy getting a 24 per cent boost.

Confirmed: Embassy letters needed for Immigration ’visa extension’

PHUKET: The Immigration Bureau has confirmed that letters from embassies are needed for short-term visa holders to be granted a 30-day extension to stay under the ‘visa amnesty’ granted by Cabinet on Tuesday.

(Reuters) - President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen left prison on Friday to finish his criminal sentence at home, an attorney for Cohen said, a day after a judge found he was sent back behind bars two weeks ago as retaliation for plans to publish a book about Trump.
