getting rid of old furniture

Featured Replies

So we need to get rid of some old furniture - a couple of wardrobes, a bed, and two small dressing tables.

They were purchased a few years ago but are no longer needed.

Anyone know where I can get rid of this old furniture in Bangkok?

Thanks for any ideas.

J

If they are still in decent shape take a photo of each item and try to sell them

for a small price on marketplace, bahtsold or facebook

precise in the text that the buyer has to come to take off the furnitures

if you have a Thai wife or GF who can deal with the Thai buyers it's better

good luck anyway

We usually call a relative, failing that leave them on the street, someone will have them

Second Chance Bangkok. Clink link to arrange a pick up.

You beat me to it. The time trying to sell is too much for me, for a small amount.

In Bangkok throwing old furniture on the sidewalk can cost you a big fine

particularly if you are a foreigner

And can’t throw away in my village. Wish there was like a public rubbish dump or something - similar to the ones in UK.
