SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australia's Victoria state on Monday reported the country's highest daily increase in coronavirus infections, prompting the authorities to warn a six-week lockdown may last longer if people continue to go to work while feeling unwell.

PHUKET: Some 350 students turned out for an anti-government rally at Saphan Hin on the outskirts of Phuket Town yesterday evening (July 26) calling for the government to step down and criticising its handling of the COVID-19 economic crisis and the ensuing mass unemployment that has arisen throughout the country.

Sattahip: Drunk on a motorcycle "went for a sleep in the central reservation"

Police in Sattahip were called after a good Samaritan saw a drunk motorcyclist veer off into the central reservation on Sukhumvit Road near the Chumphon Navy School in Bang Saray in the early hours of Saturday morning.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's police said on Monday they would look into why criminal charges were dropped against the heir to the Red Bull energy drink fortune, who was accused of a 2012 hit-and-run killing of a police officer while driving a sports car.

Rayong steps up tourism recovery
