Pattaya: Running on his rims! Drug dealer nabbed after 15 kilometer chase

Drugs suppression police have arrested a Thai drug dealer with Ya Ba and Ice after he fled a sting operation.

 

Suphachai or "Jay" Sangkhadit, 28, was taken into custody at the U-turn by Wat Prachumkhongkha in Bang Lamung last night.

 

He had 2000 Ya Ba (tablets of methamphetamine mixed with caffeine),100 grams of "Ice" (crystal meth) and a Thai made gun. 

 

Earlier police had arranged a sting but the suspect realised he was going to be arrested and took off in his Honda City.

Police were mindful of the danger to the public but the suspect would not give up and a 15 kilometer chase ensued. 

 

Eventually the decision was made to shoot out his tires. 

 

All four tires were shot out but still the suspect continued on his rims before losing control and colliding with a central median barrier at some roadworks.

 

Jay is now in custody as the inquiry widens to discover his supplier. 

 

Thai media 77kaoded said that drugs were a scourge for young people in Chonburi.

wonder how many shots it took to shoot out 4 tyres ? he can count himself very lucky he didn't suffer lead poisoning !

Have they not heard of stingers for deflating tyres of non stoppers ..

That's a lot of drugs.  Obviously still high demand around.  

How can these dealers be so idiot to know that the first rule is never carry anything at night ?

Who is out at night but drug dealers and robbers ?

They really know nothing. They could be rats as the rats who arrest them !
